is sure worth the price. I am surprised that the supplied connector did not fit the Duet. The one I got for the Touch fits perfectly.
Follow Ups:
One with a yellow plastic end came with the Teradak and it was much too big for the Duet.
Luckily while looking for a new plug to buy, a shop offered to make up a led from the old one.

Thanks for the picture, Larry, it makes it easier to explain.
My lead has the yellow tipped plug at both ends and the case has a socket for that and not the other connection yours has.
The Duet has a much smaller socket than the yellow one would fit.
it is the one that goes with this PS which is for the Duet.
I think I must have a different model as mine simply doesn't have the screw connection.
should be ok, did you contact Tera Dak about it?
I had enough problems with them not replying to emails and sending the package to my old address as it was.
It only cost me $22 to get the lead made up so I'll just leave it I think.
... I got a different model to you.
Mine only cost $60Au ($55US) delivered.I am still using the Dacmagic I bought perhaps 6 years ago and might try one for that if they make a 12v version... or versions unless it isn't worth $140US plus perhaps $30 shipping and I should look at a replacement DAC.
Right when I'm adding a new bathroom, rebuilding the kitchen and sanding the floors I probably won't even notice the money going...

As for a DAC, I too had the Cambridge DacMagic which was very good IMHO. I sold mine to a friend and am now using a Yulong DA8
http://yulongaudio.com/en/product_detail.asp?pid=30
The diff between this and the DacMagic is like day and night. It will play all resolutions up to and including the highest DSD rate.
And the reason I got it is not just the DAC/Analog conversion, but the fact that it is a very good headphone amp as well.

... of investing in some headphones and that would seem an interesting route.
WHat phones are you using?
I have been thinking of something from this range...
but also because they are in studios far and wide and have been the go to HP for a large block of time I use the Sennheiser HD 600. They sound "right" to me. They are comfortable as well.Since I sit 16 feet away from the Yulong I had Cardas make me a cable that is 18 feet long, it was not cheap!
When I engage the headphone amp it cuts the volume on the pre amp and speakers to a very low level, I love that feature.
Back in the 1970s when I was part owner of a studio in LA I absolutely hated headphones, now I love them and use them several times a week.
