The integrated graphics are sufficient for everyday tasks, and another reason for adding more RAM in Macs & PCs that use it. Some older Mac Minis had separate dedicated graphics but integrated graphics have caught up with the older discrete graphics offerings.
As we both know the integrated graphics are more than sufficient for a music server and beyond, but for gaming and video work, you need more. iMac could be a great choice w/o having to spend big cash on the Mac Pro.

but I have other uses for a desktop computer than just playing music. =:-0
Photo processing being one of them. And I rather like the monitors I currently own and would rather have a nice fast Mac Mini with a bit better graphics capability.
Worst case is get a Retina MacBook Pro and do everything from my easy chair. :-)
I getcha. I have my graphics set to a fairly low resolution on the music server Mini for larger album art thumbnails, larger text fonts, and larger utility screens making them all more visible from across the room. I use a different Mac for work and play.
I don't own a Retina display MacBook Pro. Mine is an old 15" non-unibody model from around 2007/2008. Would be nice to upgrade to a newer MacBook Pro -or- MacBook Air, but waiting to see what Apple launches within the next few months.
