No worries. The only issues I see with Auraliti is that they are a very small team and product development and firmware updates have been very slow in coming.
But their concept is sound as can be. No display, no commercial O/S. Stream via Ethernet, or plug in USB storage, high quality digital outputs including, but not limited to, USB.
Follow Ups:
They don't stream from the internet. Specifically Spotify.
This is a must have for myself!

which happens a lot. :-)
They say in their specs..
""Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA).""
And I thought that I'd heard elsewhere that it would connect to the Squeezebox Server, - if so, - then it "should" play Internet radio & Spotify.

Sonore Orbiter is a player and they say the below...""The SOtM Mini Server supports internet radio and streaming radio services from LMS""
Which means Spotify, Pandora, Flickr, etc... (AFAIK).
EDIT: I just wrote to Sonore and asked them.

Relying on LMS is the problem.... I am more concerned about LMS disappearing than Logitech Dropping the SBT. Heck, my Tablet or Phone can emulate a Squeezebox and appear on LMS
I have lots of gear in my Audio System that is "Obsolete".. In fact I don't even like it, until the Manufacturer quits making it! : - ) My Tube Amps and Pre-amp were discontinued over 10 years ago. I use Tubes made in the 1930s.... So, I have no problem with Discontinued and Obsoleted Gear.
The real genius of the Squeezebox Touch is LMS though. Without LMS, the SBT is just another player.

LMS stands for Logitech Media Server, - and it is an app that sits on a "server" (in many people's case), a dedicated PC, completely independent of any Touch, Squeezebox Boom, Squeezebox Radio, whatever.....
The Touch, Boom, SBradio are all "players" with a different interface.
If you have your Spotify, Pandora, set up on LMS on your PC/MAC, - then you can play Spotify on the Bryston/Rendu/Auralic, - right?

You have to have an account at Logitech to run it. The Pluggins that allow an Interface to Spotify are all supported by Logitech. The updates to your SBT are all downloaded from Logitech. If they drop support for LMS, it's pretty much over for LMS.Cut-Throat

Squeezebox lite is on the players, LMS is on a computer or NAS drive.
Many of these devices can attach to an LMS, - but may or may not be capable of playing apps like Spotify that are Squeezebox lite apps...
the Sonore Orbiter does play Squeezebox lite, but it only outputs USB.

"Squeezelite is one of several software clients available for Logitech Media Server. It is cross-platform and has been ported to various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X) and hardware architectures (x86, x86-64, ARM, MIPS). Squeezelite does not have any user interface of its own and must be controlled via Logitech Media Server's web interface or another Logitech Media Server client."
But Logitech is still "In Charge".

Thanks for your help & inspiration to help me in getting an understanding of all of this stuff....
