Hmm...the valuable point in your post must be hidden by a cloaking device...Which of the things that you mentioned in your post have you actually checked?
Some of the innuendos and personal smears used around here seem more appropos in a cloaca room. Or was it merely sarcasm, which of course makes it OK (after all, the targeted folks ARE public figures, eh?). I will assume it was not humor, since you said before I would be able to tell when you used thast device.

I'll 'ave you know I cleaned those 'endos with 'index so you could see right through'em 'ithout any smears! ;o)
As for facts, the Shrub's "edjakayshun" is known to be merely average or below average, even for a "Harvard man", his frat-boy pranks got him in minor trouble with the law (it's part of the public record and has been reported on several times) and unless they've lowered the standards he never met the criteria for a Rhode's scholor.

You're right, the stuff Jeb & W's henchmen did in Florida, apparently with the Shrub's full approval, isn't exactly knee-slappin' funny, but it is ripe for sarcasm. However, I think it's more appropriate at this stage of the game to view those abuses with a sarcastic bent rather than anger, but don't fret, the outrage will likely come in due course (i.e., after the investigations are conducted and the reports publicized).
As for "checking" the things I mentioned in my prior post (read the previous paragraph), the "facts" would be a lot easier for you to locate than a cloak checked by Dubya! (~8^D)

Gore's brown shirts to run rabid over the Constitution is his overt coup d'etat? His team of lawyers & enforcers were clearly trying to make votes for their leader & ban all others. If Gore couldn't win in the voting booth, he'd win in court by unprecidential means & by illegally usurping authorities outside defined jurisdictions.
....just my 2¢

...so that frequent pejorative used here is highly inappropriate. Moreover the members of such "clubs" as there are, behave in a manner altogether more dignified than at "frats" -- still, not to say I approve of heavy partying when young... guess that shows I still have some "liberal" bones in my body from college days, too...clark
I know we're livin' longer, but geez Clark, Bush was in his friggin' 40's when swooned and fell off the wagon! FWIW, the Shrub should probably be attending AA meetings. Whoa, buckeroooos! Don't get all excited and cream all over yourselves, I'm NOT refering to our sacred establishment! ;o)AuPh
