That's apparently what governor Walker thought, too, and now he's going down in flames for it.
Kind of stupid for a politician not to check the polls on a subject before springing a "bomb" on his constituents, don't you think?

And as far as sentiment goes, it sure isn't with the Democrats that left the Senate or teachers' unions.
