I am considering getting one of these amps or maybe a pair, I have 104 db speakers so i don't think power is an issue. Does anyone here have any issues with these amps? If so what is it? Does anyone here have any expirence with these amps? What are your feelings about them?

My loudspeaker is at 98db, 16ohm. SEOTL drives it pretty well.
Having replace the signal path coupling caps from Solen to VH transform this little graint to a great amp.
My speakers are 96db @ 4Ohms. Would the Transcendent SET OTL have enough power and sufficient headroom?
My Infinity Composition Prelude PFR speakers are 95.5dB [as measured by Stereophile Magazine] and dip to a nominal 4-ohms. I've owned them from new and have never found an all-round better full-range speaker for a few grand.
I have heard the excellent SE-OTL on my speakers many times and can tell you that whilst it is easily the best sounding amp I have ever *heard, it cetainly does not have the power to drive the listening volumes to anything above a loud conversation.
If I could get more volume, I would buy the SE-OTL without hesitation. The truth is; I need more power.
*I certainly have not heard every amp there is, but have thoroughly listended to many on my speakers; including: -
Plinius SA250 [SS]
Musical Fidelity X-50 [SS]
Cary 300B SE Signature [SET Tube]
Dynaco Mk 4 Copy [PP Tube]
Leak Stereo 20 [PP Tube]
Proel Profesional [D]
Arcam Alpha [SS]
NuForce Reference 8 [D]
VTL ST70 [PP Tube]
Music Reference RM9 Mk1 [PP Tube]
... and many more!
IMHO, Solid State NEVER captures the 'realness and palpabiliity' of real music.
And tubes RARELY produce the extended top octaves or 'snap & speed' of real music.
The best compromises I have found have all been tubed amps; of which [in its limited volume band] the TS SE-OTL has MURDERED everything else.
Enjoy the search...
Tone!
Sorry but I am really not sure. May you post your question at Transcendent message broad?

Excellent amp. Runs hot. I use with Jerico Horns among others. Frequency extension is excellent on both ends. I use a single amp and built from the kit.

How sensitive are your speakers?

supposedly 100db/w/m.

Just echoing what bullwinkle said. I too use Jerico's and the amps are indeed excellent sounding. They do however run very hot. I replaced the rectifiers with Hexfreds and the coupling caps with Dynamicaps.
Also tried replacing the output caps with fancy blackgates. The stock cap is superior.
