What else should I be listening to?
Besides the instrumentals, songs, recording quality and undercurrent "dark" vibe,... I really love the minimalist arrangements.
Follow Ups:
if it's guitarist fronting- Barney Kessel,Joe Pass and Jim Hall in simple drum, bass, piano arraingments.
Look for original mono presses of particularly of Barney Kessel. Just great, pure unprocesssed music. If you're not familiar with him, you probably heard him. He was in that group of musicians in the 50-60s that played in soundtracks for film/TV.
...imalist.

How's about Bill Evans, You Must Believe in Spring, Interplay, Reflections, I Will Say Good By? Lots of good sparse classical guitar stuff I could recommend if you like. Midnight Blue is a unique masterpiece IMO. Very cool. Shows you have good taste. T456
