Only a handful of singers. I've listened to samples on earbuds and I'm wondering if it sounds "fuller" on you big systems?

to a part. The soprano sounds gorgeous but the minimal staffing seems a bit extreme, though the bare-boned style might clarify harmonies and help me grasp the piece better.
The Suzuki really doesn't do it for me.

Good enough to to tell the difference streaming Mac Mini to DAC/Headphone amp vs. SONOS Connect to same DAC/Headphone amp.
Mac Mini is MUCH better source than SONOS Connect on good material.
However, I used to love Werner's St. John Passion with Helmut Krebs and Frederike Sailer (loved her voice!) - but I haven't heard these performances in decades.
