Kinda like the Symphony No. 37, K. 444 (where Mozart wrote the intro, and the rest was written by Michael Haydn).
It definitely will be interesting to hear. I guess we would expect this "new" work to sound like the other two flute concertos from that time. OTOH, the first two violin concertos, although written at approximately the same time as the next three, sound (at least to me) somewhat more primitive (if I can use that word) than concertos 3, 4 and 5, with their suave assurance, do.

Yuck. He's a long way behind J.C. Bach, Danzi, Pleyel, and even Hoffmeister, never mind Mozart. A virtuoso player giving himself some show-off flashy passages, but not many interesting musical ideas.
IMO Danzi and Pleyel both have their interesting moments, but you have to plow through a lot of chaff to get there, so no argument from me on your comment.
However, they are both brilliant compared to Wendling.
