Pletnev is on Piano ad competes more with Hamelin. Ross is Harpsichord. As for your dilemma, I bought the Erato years ago at a lot more $$$

Hamelin hasn't recorded any Scarlatti sonatas, so he's irrelevant to this discussion.
My absolute favorite piano disc of Scarlatti is Babayan, followed in no particular order by Horowitz, Tharaud, Pogorelich... and then there are many pianists who have included just a few sonatas as part of a recital disc, such as Perahia.
