Hi fellow music lovers ( and hopefully some jazz heads amongst you? ),
As I came upon this track while sampling the Neat Motive SX3 in the video, I couldn't help but get drawn into the song being played - I know it's " Unforgettable ", but for the life of me, just can't find out whom is actually the Artist playing this particular version, and need you guys help with this one, as it's one of those tracks I simply must have.
So, here we go:

And.........., fingers crossed, one of you can in fact name the Artist or Group as played during said video?.
And lastly, here's wishing all of you and yours Season Greetungs, and hopes for an even better New Year for us all.
Regards,

Oscar-
I, too, love these YT videos. All too often, the producer of the content does not list the Artist/Track title- drives me crazy!
Continue to watch that video- someone did post asking whom was playing?
On the Sax, it has a Stan Getz feel- you know, an older recording.
Hope this is helpful to you.
It reminded me of Getz too but not certain. Funny you mentioned him. The more I listen, the more it sounds like Getz..Young Dexter?

Hi fantja,
How've you been?, as it has been awhile since we last exchanged ideals/responses, I just pray that you and your family and loved ones are well.
Of course it seems some of these guts as you've noted, play some extremely wonderful music from time to time, but seem to not understand, or don't care to list it, or simply don't care to share - but by the powers of the internet, at some point.........., I generally get some assistant from some kind soul.
As I know all to well, it never hurts to ask about things unknown, lest we've to much pride?, and once again........., thanks for chiming in, it's nice to see you're still active and caring enough to respond.
Season Greetings to you and yours, until next our spirits meet.

My pleasure Oscar-
I will keep a keen eye out for you on this matter.
Season's Greetings to you and your Family as well.
Fantja,
Thanks for said Greetings, as well as your kindness in said matter.
My pleasure Oscar.

Just listened to the first few notes before I gave an opinion.
Not of the same period of Gene Ammons.
But you will still like his music if you like this.
No need to be sorry- it is going to be interesting in solving this musical puzzle.
Too much Ben Webster. And Gene had a smoother legato.

Hello jimbill,
Thanks for chiming in, the more the merrier, as it gives me even more chances at possibly finding out just whom is is?, and I'm determined to find it before years end.........., at least that's my intent.
Thanks again,

I can't name the pianist, or the sax player, or the guitarist, but I'm
guessing the trombonist might be Bill Harris, but I ain't bettin' the farm
on it. And it sounds to me like the sax player is one who is strongly
under the influence of Lester Young.
Mike -
perhaps J.J. Johnson on trombone?
And if it is JJ, then the sax might just be Getz. The two made several
recordings for Verve.
I have listened to the OP clip, I am coming up w/ nothing?
We can observe that the version in question, in on CD because the AYRE player is spinning...
Another thought, people that demo these systems (mostly) use Audiophile versions/pressings - I am thinking that possibly, it is a European/Japan Jazz group playing the track?
Hi Mike,
I do appreciate that much, as it does give me names to look into, as well as a start which is all that I can ask.
So I thank you for that much......
