I looked at the discography on his website - I hadn't any idea that he had made so many (including a set of Beethoven symphonies.....).
I have little of his legacy in my collection. Some of the Mozart symphonies. I saw him perform just once - a performance of Messiah, which (hate to say this) I found uninspired.
What do you Hogwood mavens find to be his finest recordings?
Follow Ups:
I have Hogwood's Mozart Symphony Cycle, Mozart Requiuem, Mozart Wind Music, Mozart's Exultate Jubilate, several of Mozart's lesser known Masses and Marches, several of Mozart's Piano Concerti, Mozart's La Clemenz de Tito, 2/3 of the Hadyn Symphony Cycle, the Hadyn Cello Concerti, a few of the Hadyn Masses, Bach's Brandenburg Concerti, Violin Concerti, and Orchestral Suites, Handel's Messiah, the Beethoven Symphony Cycle, several Purcell recordings, Monteverdi, Vivaldi and other recordings that I can't think of right now.
They are all revelatory.
Messiah. It may be better than the performance you attended. :-)
His Mozart Symphonies are also very good in general in a HIP kind of manner.
