No one wants to listen because modern recording techniques are causing today's classical and jazz performers to obsess about note-perfect recordings and even their live performances are artificial, sterile and lifeless. If you disagree, I want to argue about it in an 82-post thread.

Speaking of note perfect, tonight, CSO horns were dropping balls at the Season's Opening Gala!

And they were similarly doing so at our youth orchestra's first rehearsal this season. So what, to see about 90 young people playing Dvorak's 9th and Britten's Young Person's Guide was exhilarating.
