My favorite "HIP" group from the analog era and they always get recorded in a flattering acoustic. (Favorite HIP group after Savall, that is.) No Beethoven Mass, AFAIK unfortunately.
They turned in my favorite Bach Brandenburgs/Overtures and Christmas Oratorio as well.

with the Tolz Knabenchor, part of the appeal to me is that I was a boy cathedral chorister once. When girls were not recruited.
The sound is classic 2-mike coincident / near-coincident stereo and the recordings made in the Schloss (Kircheim?) are a good way to reveal how clear your system (which includes the room and where you sit) really are.
If someone finds these recordings over-reverberant then it's their system.
