This docu on the great Memphis and Mississippi Delta blues musicians, including their contributions to the civil rights movement, may be the best music film ever made. Watch for it when it releases next month. Along with "Muscle Shoals" and "The Wrecking Crew," filmmakers have documented where our music came from, and they've done it beautifully.

Follow Ups:
"Standing in the Shadow of Motown" is another excellent music film.
Great and well overdue.
