And when, pray tell, is he going to listen to all this stuff? And what
about duplicates? This guy is simply a hoarder.
It seems silly to me. I have friends with 30,000 +/- pieces in their
music collection, and they simply cannot listen to all of it at least
once more before dying.
I've given up being a "completist" for artists I like. Seems like "best of"
compilations are the way for me to go.

20 minutes per side, three sides per hour, you can listen to 24 sides in an 8 hour day (full time) . Thats 12 LPs: times 5 days if you're listening full time, so makes 60 Lps per week. Times 52 weeks in a year, that's 3120 LPs per year. So 10,000 Lps would take about three years of listening....
