I have a friend - John Taylor - who used to play bass with Michael Garrick. In the UK at the same time were John Taylor the drummer and John Taylor the somewhat more famous pianist. Since he moved to Norway he never realised his life's ambition to put together -
The John Taylor Trio:
John Taylor - piano
John Taylor - bass
John Taylor - drums
Follow Ups:
Interesting about the trio, but how does John Taylor connect to the Joneses?

Common names in Jazz?

Thanks, now I understand why you posted it.
A jazz Jones that comes to mind is Quincy Jones.
