not-so-nova; sailing and kayaking in a pristine area; hiking in a national forest replete with amazingly colored birds and VERY large monkeys; pigging out on the world's best barbecue (churrasco) and terrific seafood dishes; consuming vast quantities of the native fruits that will be tomorrow's big hits in this country (acai is the last "big thing" to have been imported).
Next time, I'll make some room for classical...
(typo in header: "forgo," of course, should read "forgo," with an accent on the last letter....).

America is the greatest country on earth! (shudder)
They also don't think it's fair for the US to take the name, "America," since it as justly can be applied to Southern hemisphere countries....
Anyhow, you'd hate it. They actually voted a union chief for president and then followed it up by electing a (double shudder) woman with a student activist background!
I don't know how those two have presided over the world's most successful economy over the past 10 years. I guess "Commies" (in your book) do better than raging conservatives in modern economies (see W's "success").
"What's horrible about it is they don't think America is the greatest country on earth! (shudder)"
What's so horrible about that? With what has gone on in recent time, I'd be inclined to agree...........
