Lots of good amps out there that will do right by your Maggies. I'd advise the Sanders Magtech without reservations. My 3.7i have never suffered blown fuses or any other issues with this amp providing the juice.

So it seems to be a sure bet .
Any thoughts on matching my Audio Research LS17 SE Preamplifier with the Magtech .
In any event I will be trying to speak with Rodger in the near future I am sure.

Audio Research gear has a reputation for being dependable and conservatively designed. I know of no reason why any AR pre would pose problems for the Sanders amp. My pre is an Audible Illusions L3A (Art Ferris design) which is basically the line preamp version of the Modulus 3A. Audible Illusions gear tends to be on the warm side of neutral. Not sure how that compares with Audio Research sound-wise, but neither my amp nor speakers have ever complained. :0)
