Good luck!
I know it's been 5 years for you, but I hope you've had yours replaced. From my appaling experience with Magnepan, you still may not have them! My new pair were suffering a buzzing/vibrating noise at certain bass frequencies at certain volumes, and when I looked at the panel on the offending speaker, I saw a 'rippling' of the upper LH corner, over a large(ish) area, of about a squate foot.
It took Magnepan 15 MONTHS to replace the faulty panel!!
The whole Magnepan infrastructure is a complete mess, and several staff need fireing, IMO! They never ever answered the phone, and when I left messages, no-one ever returned any calls made to them. I was ghosted with zero answers to emails for Months on end! I received completely different 'stories' from different Magnepan employees as to why. I have been told many many times by different dealers that Magnepan is the most weird company to deal with, making the most weird and illogical decisions.
As a long time Maggie owner, going back to the MG Ib, I have always loved them, and they used to have a good customer relation feedback, but no longer! Now, Magnepan, you are a disgrace to the Hi-Fi community. Get your act together.
Great!
