Beautiful gear.Do you have any issues with all of the reflective surfaces behind the speakers?Happy new year for all of the nice people on this board & let's hope for good hearing in '2017 and well beyond.

I can't answer that since it's always been this way; will have to toggle with it covered/uncovered in the near future. I've never noticed any reflective harshness (or probably unconsciously simply ignored it). I admit there's a lot going on behind it with the glass doors and TV but logistically speaking I have to deal with it. Moving it out of the room would be a nightmare since it weighs a ton, would have to be disassembled and tilted to fit through the door. I would need another room to place it-which I don't have unfortunately. The prior owner of the house didn't even want to deal with it and sold it to me for a song.
I found Jim Smith's book 'Get Better Sound' to be very informative & helpful for setting up my room.
