The 20.7 is a whole different level of performance. You can get a whole lot more out of it and your space is sufficient - though you will want to separate the speakers somewhat more and increase your listening distance a bit that way.
Their bass can suck more power than the 3.7 but that is not going to be a problem so long as you are not trying to play the mg20.7 much louder (which they can).
Follow Ups:
Hey Sadie...Hope all is well...
Is 14' wide enough for the 20.7's for the HK/Limage set-up...
My 3.7i's work well in a 13' wide, 13" to the side walls and 6'-6" between the tweeters...11' to my ears...can move that about a foot forward and 2' back with out losing anything...
I keep my ears between the foyer and the hallway, as you suggested...this really blows out the side walls...
My knee jerk reaction is the room needs to be at "least" 16'wide for the 20.7's...just a thought...
thanks
Mark
That seems borderline and likely get overbearing bass as a tradeoff with narrow soundstage without a good compromise between them. But worth a try. Definitely worthwhile to try with a 3.7 just that you need to stuff it with large tall furniture to break the long dimension since the room is a 1:2 proportion that rarely works for the Limage setup.
The long wall will definitely work in a standard setup.
