I have "customized" Mye Stands for my ESL 63s. (built higher to raise the center of the speaker so it is at ear level for my listening chair) and they are very well built, easy on the eyes and protect the speaker as adjustments are made during set up.
Your 57s would be well-served by the Mye Stands.
Follow Ups:
I have a pair of the Arcici's for the 57's, but they're 1100 miles from here or I'd look for you! There are just two bolts to attach the bottom rail to the two side frames, then screws through the side frames into the sides of the Quads themselves. Should be just standard threading, not metric.
The Mye stands for the 57's look like they are a lot better than the Arcici's, but they're about a grand a pair, I believe, more than I paid for the speakers!
I'd love to see it if you do.
Thx.

Go back to the Planar Speaker Asylum Forum first page. The fifth entry, heading "Mye stands for Quad 57's?", first entry has a nice big picture of them.
