The bass drivers can be checked with an ohmmeter.....it should show about five ohms. If you don't have an ohmmeter just use a standard "D" cell battery and connect/disconnect for an audible indication.
If you can't see a break in the bass wires then there's a bad connection somewhere.
Both speakers doing the same thing??

Haven't done the second speaker yet.I will borrow my sons meter and have a look.I will update when I can.Thanks.
I haven't worked on these for a month .Too much stuff going on till today.I put in a new connection board and I have the same issues.The other speaker works fine after the recap.Could it be possible that the caps I'm using in the trouble some speaker have issues from the factory?
