Well, that does confirm that the "i" modification has nothing to do with the crossover. That's a good data point.
Maybe this has been confirmed previously and I missed it. If so, sorry about that since I'm not really monitoring this forum much anymore.

I've been waiting for someone to post info on the i version vs original stock. Since I have the house to myself until Wednesday, I was considering tearing into mine (my daughter's) to compare them to what neolith posted - forgot about the image Mark reposted. As I've been rather busy since my mother died back in March, I think I'll just kick back and enjoy a breather ...and the 3.7s, in their new environment.

Interesting thread. Quite different from German measurements. They measured the minimum impedance to 3 ohm at 444 Hz and the maximum to 5.5 ohm at 1460 Hz.
