So you're using your MMG's now, or? Your system still shows the 3.7 system...

I traded with my daughter and I'm now using a pair of Definitive's Mythos ST mains, with STS rears, a Mythos 10 center and a pair of Reference subs. I know Definitive Technology's reputation as a hifi speaker manufacturer isn't exactly great, but the STs are different. I rather like them. The problem with the 3.7s is that my listening area shortened. Rather than battle with them and the proximity to the front wall, etc, I took the easy route.
They are in my former bedroom in a very near field arrangement. It works. In fact, it's excellent. My expectations weren't high, but I figured it would be stupid not to try them in that room. I had them packed and ready for storage or sale. I'm glad I decided to give them a try in the little room, but my daughter is even more glad...which makes me even more glad, as well.
My VAC valve amp is packed in its box. Every time I think about creating an add and selling it, I talk myself out of it. ;-)
As long as you're happy, enjoying, it's all good. We'll still talk to you. :)
The fix to the Audio Research VS110 was a bad Cathode resistor. Now I need to find some small box speakers to hook up to the receiver for a dedicated AV system. Thinking Yamaha NS-10's, or something similar.
