So, how do they sound? I'm a long way away from any hi-fi stores. I hear they're quite a bit better then the 12's and I liked the 12's (although the high-end left something to be desired and they sounded their best at higher volumes than I like).

Follow Ups:
I have heard them in 2 different systems now. First was in Nashville being driven by Bryston amplification and a Project Persplex6 TT feeding Project tube box. The 2nd was in Jacksonville driven by Ayre amplification and VPI scout TT. In both rooms I was struck by the bass response. I had to look to see if they were running the DWM panels (they weren't). It is articulate and very natural. Midrange is what you'd expect but seems to blend better top to bottom. I was shocked at how good they are. They seem to play bigger that they are. Chose them over the Super mmgs.
I had 3.6's for years and moved into a small media room and tried some "regular" speakers for a while, and hated them. I finally broke down and bought a Super MMG system that would fit the smaller room.
I love it, it has Mye stands, but I really wish I had known they were going to introduce the .7. Can you say how they sound compared to the MMG systems?
I was only able to make direct comparison with the .7s and regular mmgs with the DWM panel. The best way I could describe it would be the .7s are more articulate. They seem to be more focused. I much preferred the sound of the .7s. When I did hear the super mmgs about a year ago I remember being very impressed with the seamless integration. It's just not realistic to make the comparison as I didn't hear them at the same time.
