I'm tempted to try one.

Follow Ups:
Back in the day, using Pass Aleph 0's on my 57's was less than stellar, in contrast to my T4A's where they were an absolute perfect match.
My guess is, that this was due to the always existing DC offset on the Alephs' output, driving the 57's input trannies into saturation at normal listening levels.
So, if the First Watt does not use a servo to null offset, I would expect a disappointing result.
Just my experience ...

....not just the F6, but any of the FirstWatt designs -- you can get the older ones for a lower price; a plus with my budget.
I'm after my ultimate amp for my Quads, not pulling the trigger just yet.
Under consideration:
Tubes -- Music Reference RM-10, Dynaco St-70 clone, Dynaco ST-35 clone, Croft Phone Integrated (a hybrid)
SS -- Quad 303, Bedini 25/25, some other "Class A" amp, like FirstWatt or the Forte 50w class A (I think this is also a Nelson Pass design).
What I don't intend to do is spend a fortune -- I don't think it's necessary to get the best out of these speakers. MATCHING & SYNERGY I think is more important.
A good class A amp for the Quads is interesting....
But the Quads being "the Quads", it ain't like you can walk in a store and listen to this combination -- the only downside to owning a 50 year old speaker.
The Music Reference was developed for/using a pair of '57s...
Happy Listening
No first watt, but I have used my PASS X250.5 on my rebuilt 57's it was glorious
