Most intriguing-less than the price of a dental implant by half.

Cheaper (barely) than 1.7's.

Curious to know if they are Dutch made. Own the 1'7's so I am doubly curious. Like the 1.7's very much .Owned the ML CLS briefly before flood hit Brklyn loft. Very refined but never quite balanced, the strength of the 1.7.They play loud; which the CLS did not without rattling. Anyways, have begun inquiry-just something to fool with after dental payments. Dick Oscher wrote a favorable freview of the Essence 1000i thoght they afre easy to drive. Impedance with my Emotiva XPA1 mono block would ease things.(They I hav e bee told do not work well with ML). Osher said gthese afre not a tough load.
These are smaller than 1.7's, don't require as much room, sound better at lower levels.
At least that's what I've heard.

That is the one deficit of the 1.7' --do need volume to get the dynamics. As I play a lot of organ music am surprised how well they do. And do more than suggest lower octaves without subs.(Cannot do in an apt in NYC- it would be war.) But reliable statics are something else. I was thinking of the 63" speaker . Seemed to be making uses of mylar in "printed" form? No subs...Just wonder how they can make so inexpensively and if they can be serviced...
