The Maggies are dipoles, so they cancel out bass waves from their edges, including the ceiling. I ran a room mode calculator and it looks fairly good. http://www.bobgolds.com/Mode/RoomModes.htm
You may want to place a couple 2 inch sonex pads on the ceiling between the speakers and your listening position, using the mirror-method. In large rooms the bass modes are actually further apart than in small rooms. Additionally, the fundamental nodes are of a lower frequency. Your 23ft dimension has a fundamental node at 15 Hz: much lower than the Maggies can reproduce or your ears can really hear.
You you should be in great shape with either model you choose. I have 1.6's in a 22ft x 22ft x 11ft room. They sound incredible ( 67 tube traps do help. These dimensions are a theoretical nightmare !).

Hello!I guess it takes a literal forest to address the inherent issues faced with a square room having an even multple ceiling height!
I use twelve, but lucked into having a nicely proportioned room - 25x16 with sloped ceilings and dormer sections that break up the rectangle. Pics in my gallery if your're interested.
BTW, how in the world do you have that many arrayed? I began distributing them equally in the room, but found the best measurable results in terms of bass linearity meant just stuffing all the big ones behind the stats.
edit: Just looked at your gallery and the many pics. Yep, you've got a bunch of them. Along with the illuminated fluid variations in the front. :)

Six of my tube traps are ASC 16 inch tubes. The rest are DIY. Those are only 3 feet in height. I stacked two of them every 29 inches all around the room, with a few suspended on the rear wall / ceiling juncture. I pretty much followed the Moncrieff design from the ASC website http://www.tubetrap.com/bass_traps_articles/iar89.htm
Oddly enough, as good as it sounded, it was the final addition of two Auralex T fusors at ear height, on the wall behind my listening position that locked the room in place. Here is a photo of the room mapping and the rear T fusors.
Next step is to complete the ceiling tube traps...if I can find the time and energy !

Oops. Here's the mapping of the room tube traps, and other acoustic treatments.

Agree with all the above comments, you have more than enough room for three series. I have slightly less room than this, and still prefer to supplement the 3.7i bass with two DWM panels. I have zero room treatment other than the bass panels ( which can be viewed as a type of treatment as positioning allows not just bass augmentation but considerable bass smoothing as well )
