Return to Planar Speaker Asylum
73.12.71.220
I was doing the NY Times Sunday Acrostic puzzle (while listening to a Bach Cantata) and came across a clue - "Stone axe or adz". I was pretty sure the answer was Neolith but I thought I check the definition (I was correct) and came across the Neolith Martin Logan speaker which is new to their line up and their largest (and, I assume, most expensive) speaker. I chose "neolith" as my moniker because it means a relic from the stone age but I am sure Martin Logan chose Neolith because they have come across my numerous erudite posts on the Planar forum :).

I say you should just sue!
I'm sure they sound great, but they make Maggies look beautiful.
Looks butt ugly. Unlike the ML CLS - it looked futuristic and sexy. The Neolith looks like something out of the Schwarzenegger Predator movie.Of course, no offense to the Real Neolith. I am sure you are more a CLS than a Neolith....um, OK, I am going to stop typing now.
I VOID WARRANTIES

....if I would sue when a speaker comes out named "Bob"..... Hmmmmmm
It reminds me of a few years ago when Wilson Audio threw a fit regarding their Thor's Hammer subwoofer.......Linkwitz Lab already had a "Thor" subwoofer that was introduced well before the Wilson offering. Graciously, Wilson allowed Linkwitz Lab to keep the "Thor" name without calling in their cadre of attorney's for legal action. Whew!
Dave.
For their NEW flagship speaker...the least they could do is drop ship you a pair for your mental anguish, trademark infringement and defamation of character, since you are a Magnetic Planar guy instead of a stat guy...I would say you can save them a mountain of humiliation...
OR
You could go all "Monster" Noel Lee on them and sue for even speaking your moniker, let alone using it on their flagship speaker...I may change my moniker to MONSTER Mark Man, just so Noel Lee will sue me...
With your confrontational troll personality that you exhibit on this forum, I would expect nothing less from you than to sue them.... ;)
Just my $.02...
Thanks
Mark
