Lyric was pleasant and accommodating - just not really ready to have the speaker auditioned. As an aside Mike Kay is now in assisted living. His wife died about a month ago. I will miss him.
Sorry to hear about Mike Kay and his wife. It's been decades since I was in Lyric. This really makes me feel old.
Mike Kaye is a very nice man and one of the greats of the commercial audio world. He sold me my first pair of "high end" speakers, back in 1971, a pair of IMF Studios. Mike himself helped me to carry them to my car, which was double-parked on Lexington in heavy traffic. A real gentleman. When he faded into the background, the atmosphere at Lyric suffered, up went "snotty", down went grace and manners.
Andy Singer is the president of Sound by Singer, not Lyric.
