I haven't put on 200 miles on my car in two years, in those two years I haven't changed the oil at all. Is that a problem? The oil is synthetic always, Mobil 1.

I put 60 miles on the ST1300 today while enjoying a nice ride in the country. :)
Your oil likely hasn't collected much dirt or has broken down yet, but motors need to be run periodically. Heck, I run the lawn tractor for ten minutes or so occasionally in the winter to keep the battery healthy.
I see your problem. You own a Aveo.
( I crack my self sometimes ).
I know someone that owns one & I think it a piece of shit, but, it been a very reliable piece of shit.
OK Then, change the oil & have them check all system's, then take it out of the city for a nice drive. Get some fresh air.
Mechanical things go bad when they just sit. They need exercise.
Yes I own an Aveo and that's why I am going to retire at 50 years old :)
I am going to have to get it out of the garage sooner or later, I appreciate all the input from everyone.
you can retire at 50 because you drive a Aveo?
Shit, you probably spend more in a year on tobacco, beer & pizza than that car cost.
I'm pretty sure Mobil says 15k miles OR once a year. You mght wanna change it.
Thanks a lot for the help. Will do when the snow melts, and I can take it out of the garage. We just got hit with 14 of snow inches yesterday so I'm driving a 21 year old clunker in the meantime.
IMHO, don't worry about oil change. I'd do this...
Make sure battery is fully charged. Pull coil wire, so engine won't start. Crank it over for 15 seconds, to get oil into bearings and top end (valves).
Reconnect coil. Now, start engine. Dry starts (no oil in parts of engine) --- is leading cause of early engine damage.
Good luck!
