So much music, so little time!
Decided to post a pair of beings whose stories are part of this 'place' called Inmate Central. Along with another new person who loves them too.
Ruby's new mobility has given here a chance to delight in cats herself.
Happy thread.

Not quite sure why as she is only just now really become mobile.
From her first visit, they were very leery. They just give her a wide berth.
So far.
all the best,
mrh
It's possible that Ruby having met our cats before, and seen us with them before she could walk, gets more than your grand kids do, and then there's GGGII aka Georgie, and his seeking out young kids as a pattern.
There are more than a few possible permutations and combinations possible, about the meeting even/s!
This is an opportunity to teach your GKs a whole bunch of stuff, even in some depth. About 'others'.
That shot is the first thing 'the Rubester' did, she got straight down to George's level - eye to eye, chattered delightedly and only then reached out - and she didn't GRAB.
Both the boys and our two litter-mate Burmese took along time to get on. ? 80s.
I love the way that life is surprising.

Hope all's well.
Thank you for that reminder; I hadn't thought about that for a while.
Do you have a recent photo of the kitteh? :-)
Not asking for myself, of course; some friends of mine were curious.
all the best,
mrh
About two years after I adopted Brucie I adopted Lucy, a tuxie. Here they are together. Brucie is twice her size. They will be 7 and 5 years old respectively this spring.
In late May I adopted these two sisters. Weezie on the left, Squeezie on the right. Weezie has a spot on her chin much like Lucy.
Here they are very soon after I adopted them.
And here's the tuxie trio. Weezie, Squeezie, and Lucy. All the kitties get along perfectly.

based on the one here (and the one I grew up with), that must be -- interesting! :-)
Brucie's looking mighty fine.

She looks quite a bit like Squeezie, and quite a sweety. All of Weezie's paws are multicolor: some pink, some black.
Squeezie's eyes are a lovely light brown.
