Thanks for the info. I can't read ENOUGH on possible relief.
24-7 PAIN really is exhausting mentally besides the obvious physical discomfort.
My specialist years ago advised me of the only known treatment, which is ridiculously invasive surgery. The outcome is SHORTER LENGTH arms from removing the damaged pieces, the surrounding bone structure "falls" into the void also resulting in limited range of motion. I'm leaving out details but that's my option at this point. No amazing stem cell technology or whatever is on the horizon.
Since all the cartilage in these areas are gone, I'm basically screwed. I can do most things, I just have limits with varying degrees of pain. My guitar playing and physical hobbies-cycling/skiing have time limits due to discomfort.
How does this area look? On bad days, the inflammation looks like I have a quartet slice of a ping pong ball sunk into my wrists! Picture a normal range of motion of a limp wrist. About 90 degress? I have about 30.
Oh well, when I plop a favorite record on the table, temporary relief from both the tinnitus and arthritis. We grit our teeth/smile and be greatful things aren't worse as others.
I do have a craving for a fabulous chicken soup, as JURB has recomended.

Well DV, you should have gotten to me 30 years ago. IL-6 is a bad guy in many inflammatory conditions according to research. This includes osteoarthritis and maybe pain. I suggest considering the use of a Vit K complex with K1 and MK2 and MK4. Evidence points to it being a IL-6 lowering agent. I will soon be switching from the rather expensive LEF product to the product below. Vit D3 also... You have to look into the blood viscosity thing with Vit. K use to make sure your doctor ok's it since you have had a stroke...Vitacost Ultra Vitamin K with Advanced K2 Complex -- 90 Softgels

Yo DV, sorry to hear that your wrists are so far gone. Lots of stuff on supposed pain relief and for the reduction of inflammation. I could go on forever. Actually there is evidence that music is pain relieving under some circumstances. You might look into melatonin, 5HTP, ginger, bosswella, opium, weed... if you already haven't. Stay from the news. You're knowledge/suggestions are greatfully appreciated.
Yeah, I incorporate natural pain relieve to take the edge off.
"Stray from the news"
No kidding! Constant reminder we are in Supermans "bizarro" world now.
The VitK thing is interesting. Something to discuss with the primary Dr. Otherwise, overall good health and a supportive S.O. help keep perspective.
As long as the table is spinning with a clean record, I'm good!
