Should not involve white sauce or bechamel. Ewwww. Chicken is fine but not on pizza.

I have had BBQ chicken pizza that was tasty. They substitute BBQ sauce for the pizza sauce. Its not true pizza of course, but it was still good and a nice change.
sounds interesting. although most BBQ sauces are sweet which I don't much like.

Tomato sauces are sweet as well. BBQ chicken pizza is offered at many places here. Best with bell peppers and onions. I have made it myself. My wife and kids liked it. I admit that it's a novelty that can wear after a few times, but it's an alternative.
I hear ya. Tomato sauce can be sweet, acidic and high in sodium so I avoid it too. I am happy to be an American that doesn't need any of thse pills they hawk on the tube for indigestion or acid reflux.

You might find it hard to believe what works for that but I personally tried it and it did work. The olman told me "Take a tablespoon of vinegar". At first I said he was nuts, but after I tried it I was fixed in like a minute. A little rough going down but after that I was fine.
Now I tend towards acidic foods, like tomato based, peppers and I mean the kind in the jars, pickles. For a while I was making my own salad dressing out of nothing but seasalt, vinegar and sourcream. And I put all kinds of stuff in the salad like the peppers, onions, garlic, cheese, pepperoni, the lettuce went on last actually. In fact I have had salads with no lettuce at all. Some people think a salad is just lettuce and tomato, not me.
Anyway, if you had a problem with canned tomato sauce and reflux or any of that it was probably because of the sweeteners in it. They're in everything. I got a taste for regular Italian dressing a while back and found out most brands have sugar in them. Italian dressing is not supposed to be sweet. When you get French fries from McDonald's they are sprayed with sugar water before or while getting frozen. It is not for flavor but when you are so sugar inundated you don't notice. They do it so they fry differently. At a lower temperature, which keeps the oil good longer and still get a little crisp on them. Even KFC, there's somewhere you would never thing to find it.
And now you see things where sugar, HFCS or aspartame are in the top ingredients, which by law must be listed in order from most to least of their content. There is more sweetener in Italian salad dressing than "spices" ? And by that they mean ALL spices.
Once I started reading labels I had a hell of alot less problems. I highly recommend it.
Like people wit ulcers, the want to drink milk. They should be taking vinegar or something else acidic. Seems that some people get that heartburn and whatever because the foods they eat trick the stomach into thinking it needs more acid.
It is totally ironic but I did it.
I've had HFCS BBQ pizza sauce, it was great if you like candy ...pretty good. BTW: HFCS = (High Fructose Corn Syrup).
oh how TPTB spoil us. BTW: TPTB = (The Powers That Be).
BTW: BTW = (By The Way).
And Americans know what BBQ means I hope.
