The Blonde Tremolux is a very nice amp. Many transition era Fender amps have a mix of tweed and blackface tones. The Tremolux is not as loud as the blonde Bassman. The GZ34 rectification and smaller spec'ed OPT makes a big difference. As well as the two 10-inch speaker cab. Versus the Bassman's usual 2 x 12, during this era.The one in Audiogon ad is kinda over priced. Wish they had photos of the circuit and under the doghouse.
I have a Blonde Tremolux (and Blonde era Pro). The Tremolux me $1200 (amp and cab), back in 2008. Tolex is not in as good of a shape, as the ad. Mine has optional JBL E110 speakers, in the cab. I redid the main PSU and the bypass caps. Redid the tail resistors on the PI & GNFB resistor. They were all out of spec. Found some nice tubes. This is one very sweet amp. Good for lead and rhythm guitar work. Single pole or humbucker pickups. One of the best amps, IMHO.

Very nice example. I'd demand photos of the circuitry, transformers, pots, speakers, etc... as proof of OEM status. For that price, the amp should have all original parts & be in pristine condition. Inside and out.
BTW... I don't think you'll ever get much more $$$ from reselling that amp. I know of no well known artists or recordings using the Blonde Tremolux. Not like the many famous ppl that used the tweed era Bassman in recordings and gigs.
