These days, we get takeout from a bunch of local pizza joints, Napolis, Italian Villa, Crazy Tomato, Palios, and 5th Street Pizza(true St. Louis style pizza). All OK, none will make you forget really good pizza. Olive Oils in Richardson is some of the best in the metroplex we've had along with Campisi's.

Is there an iFrateli's in your part of town? The Cole brothers, who own iFrats, are kin to Campisi family. Pizza is very similar. The iFrats by me puts out a very good and consistent product. If you do not like thin, crisp crust, then you should look elsewhere, but if you like Campisi then iFrats might be for you.

Although i Frateli started out around 30 years ago, they got their start in Irving. Four brothers. Started in a little tiny hole in the wall strip mall restaurant with maybe 6 or 8 tables. I used to eat lunch there fairly often back when I worked in Las Colinas. They have the big/main restaurant there at MacArthur and 635, but they have ~15 pizza shops now in NW Dallas Cnty and NE Tarrant. They also just opened a shop in Austin near the Aboretum. Again, if you like Campisi you will probably like i Frateli's pizza too. Pepperoni, jalapenos and garlic. Ummm, umm.
Nearest to us is 6=7 miles away. One of the best Italian restaurants I ate at in San Francisco was I Fratelli (I believe that was the name). Definitely not a chain and quite upscale (Pacific Heights). Have no idea if it's still up and running.

Hey, I worked in Las Colinas back in '84. CompuShop in the Caltex building. That's the last job I quit. Haven't had a job since. I remember when the construction crane tipped over when they were building Williams Square. THAT was bizzare.

You're in the Allen area, right?
You seriously should go up to Sherman to the Sherman Jazz Museum. My good buddy Bill Collins runs the place, and he'd be glad to show you around.
