I was surprised that was you because it mentions MPH like we use here in the states..Then I figured you wanted to say KPH but we yanks wouldn't get it.LOL. I guess SUVs are risky in your neck of the woods in Australia eh?

As you know we have a small to mid-size one now, a 2015/6 Subaru Forester.
I was taught to drive well by the Australian Army. Land Rovers and 4wd and 6wd trucks including those WWII era GMC / Studebaker with crash gearboxes and air brakes!! I had to pass for all possible infantry specialties as I was going down the senior NCO route.
It was drilled into us that small slow movements and slow speeds were the go - in any slippery going.
People who are unused to driving on snow shouldn't imagine that having a car that switches to and from FWD to AWD will allow them to drive quickly in snow on tarmac.
As that post made clear my decision to slow down allowed me to get back into tune with 'opposite-lock' mode, but gently! ;-)
I must admit, now that I am heading for 66 I have decided to slow down. But it occurs to me that finding a skid-pan and 're-finding' my opposite-lock skills wouldn't hurt.

We have those Subuaru Foresters in the US we well but now Ford is reintroducing the Bronco with similar dimensions to the original 1967 versions.
