The number of Google related apps installed and running on this Android tablet. They do nothing for me but gather data Google then sells. I disabled them all and everything else that tries to communicate my location so I can then get ads targeted for me.
Windows ten does this too and I will never use it or eight. They both waste tons of bandwidth for a bunch of useless crap. It is easy to get it off the desktop but very hard to uninstall it so it still isnt wasting bandwidth. I guess when seven no longer works I will get a Mac. Hopefully they havent given in to this crap. I guess they will if they havent already. I mean why would a company give their customers something they want and would probably pay extra for if given the opportunity to do so?

my Imac runs 'ghostery' which simply blocks most of 'em.
Of course, the trackers and such multiply faster than RABBITS at a Viagra Convention, so you must keep on it.
But it DOES help lots.

Not an upgrade per se. For the last decade we have had refinements of their OSX. The next one will be rebranded as macOS, and it will make several models of previous computers (desk and laptops) obsolete. I have a mid-2009 model MacBook Pro that is in pristine condition, yet is on their hit list. I don't consider it to be that old.
The macOS coincides with their iOS for phones and other OS's for other Mac toys.
The upshlot -- and this is just my opinion -- is that Apple is working itself out of the computer biz, noting that people only want the social, gaming, and surfing stuff.
considering I use loudspeaker drivers that were made in the early 1960s, I think it's safe to say that I fall into that camp, too.
;-)
all the best,

I blow a driver, I shop new speakers. Its come to that.
Thats a shame but not a surprise. 2009 is not hold either to me.
