I had a CVCC back in the 1980's. Same color as in the video, bright yellow.Next came the 1991 Civic DX Hatchback. No AC, no power steering, no airbags, no power accessories. Another go-cart platform only better and more refined.
Two of the best micro cars ever made. I only wish that they still made go-carts like those ones today, I hate most of today's computer cars.
I need 4 wheel drive now so I drive a heavy duty go-cart, Jeep CJ-5.

my '01 S2000 sure handles like a go-cart.
With 97k miles running on original clutch. It's a keeper. :)
Agreed. My '05 S2K gives me a grin that would have to be surgically removed every time I drive it. Just over 100K, also original clutch. I'll be driving that car until I can't drive anymore. I do have to admit that getting into it is a bit like climbing into a Cessna 152, though - I have to fold up my legs like a jackknife. As Bambi B put it, "You kind of wear it."
.
Another driver-oriented vehicle crafted in the 60's British sports car vein like the MGB, Triumph TR-4, Austin-Healey 3000 and Sunbeam Alpine - yet with modern technology and above all - utter reliability absent with the originals.
Not to mention that the Miata remains in production and continues to evolve.
A Miata tried to take me at a light once, however, but discovered that it simply didn't have the horsepower. :)
Good cars for sure. I couldnt do a CJ, too noisy. Also yhe early onrs were unstable unless you widened the stance.

BTW, I still own the '91 Honda Civic. Still in excellent condition inside and out, engine/manual trans still going strong at nearly 200,000 miles. Repainted to match OEM blue about 5 years ago.
Wonderful little car, good in the corners, smooth and stable at speed.
