I don't know if it's my imagination or what but ever since I had Ellie's haircut and groomed two weeks ago,she seems to have lost some of her pizazz or spirit. She still hangs out down the basement in my office with me like you see here, but with a different state of mind.I have her haircut every summer but I don't remember her acting different like now.

Our little male Yorkie, Charlie loves to show off his cut after grooming. Also, he doesn't go anywhere or accept company at home without sporting a shirt. Our female (who has since passed) Rottweiler/Chow mix, Roxie hated her only summer cut. She acted embarrassed/humiliated that all her beautiful hair was shaved off. We got the message.
She always loved her haircut before and even this time she stood still while Melanie cut her hair. That's the pet groomer. My neighbor across the street has four miniature Yorkies and Ellie actually plays with the one that belonged to her daughter. We watch Lexie when she goes out of town every once in a while and they will play with the ball and wrestle..
I wouldn't mind getting another beagle.I haven't had a dog in years but I have a fenced in big yard so it would be ok for a beagle.

She's plotting your demise for messing with her 'do.
LOL
She might be.She always hangs out by me wherever I go. She even rides in the car with me and I never put her in a cage. She does stand up with her paws on the dash looking out the window at times but,all in all,she loves car rides.
