1966 was my favorite year for American cars even though I was a little kid. Dig the party scene with the Avanti

Summer Toy.This is out at my friend's farm where it's stored in the winter.
I would love an Avanti or a Hawk and I also love all these cars..Here is my daily driver and yes,it's an automatic before anyone asks because I bought the car from a teaching associate back in 2005 who was getting divorced..Its an 04..I like automatics because I put a Trans-go shift kit in it and a 3000 stall converter and a few engine mods.

Too bad they don't float.
Those are not boats, the Polara is only seven inches longer than the little Dodge Dart. The Vette isnt a boat and neither is the Avanti. The Gran Sport and Satellite arent boats. Just the 300 and the Riviera are. So two for seven, if it were baseball youd be hitting .286 not bad. ..........if it were baseball. The five are all less than 20 inches longer than a Mustang. So you messed up.

Exactly.
People that are from California tend to have an affinity for rice boxes and care nothing about America's past, which the big three automakers are who built most of the war machine vehicles, planes,Jeeps, and tanks that saved us from Hitler's dominance in WW2.They were the one's able to step up to the task when needed.
