They just closed down the Miami Heat by playing guys you never heard of -- Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, Bismack Biyombo ... Now on to the Cleveland LeBron James franchise.
These guys deserve some attention. Hard to come by with most attention focused on the western teams this year.

I do hear the news which is following the Raptors is a roller coaster ride with heroic comebacks after stellar defeats.
The general consensus being joy with the odd Raptors fan decrying we should have waited to send a better team, as if was somehow unjust to the competition or too great a risk of heart attack lol
I think it cool some of these downtrodden teams like Toronto and Golden State have risen from the ashes. My guess is they won't get past Cleveland. But making it to the division finals is a big step forward.
Bismack Byombo played center because their regular center was hurt and did pretty well too. Lowrey and DeRozan are all stars. Still I dont see them winning but a game if that against the Cavs. Lowrey and Derozan had very Jeckyl and Hyde numbers in the series against the Heat. The Heat also lost their center Hassan Whiteside to injury halfway through the series.
Im not saying its a lock but Ill be quite surprised if its not the Cavs v Warriors in the finals.

Actually these players are quite popular in Canada since being drafted by the Raptors. They may not be as popular as LBJ, Kobe, Griffin or the whole GSW's team rosters, but they play like they belong in the NBA. Lowry at 6.0' is got to be one of the most dynamic 3-pointer shooter for a short player out there except Curry of course, but he is 3" taller than him.Raptors has a habit of drafting players that they couldn't afford once the player's stocks goes up. Players such as Chris Bosh, Tracy McGrady, Damon Stoudamire, Morris Peterson and of course Vince Carter just to name a few.
I think their luck may just run out playing against the formidable Cavaliers team. All I can say is may the best team win.
If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing well
