Another nice Chevelle, reasonably priced.
Follow Ups:
...prefer it in black and an SS.
When I was a kid, the coolest big-kid on the block had one. Black on black, SS, 396, Hurst, Cragars ...it was sweet.
I still want to be like him if I grow up.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
About 1985 or so I had the chance to buy a one owner, low mileage, all original 350/396 1968 SS Chevelle. Gold with black strim. Still upset about not getting that car.
Cheers,

That seems like stout money for a 350 car, but times change. I had friends who had 396 cars back in the day. They were a fun ride.
34 large? Way too much money, for me, at least.
But I DO love the color. neighbor had an ss396 / 4 speed that color and it was nice for its time.
Now, if it were an original tripower GTO from '66 or so?
Too much is never enough
As an original vintage car, it might be worth $34,000, but as a restoration project without the Malibu SS glamor, it's not. I hope it was a labor of love for the restorer, 'cause at $34K, he's gonna be married to it for a long time.
I knew a guy who had a '66 SS, blue w/mag wheels, back in the day. Very cool car - a total chick magnet.
:)
Nice! May have been better if upgraded to SS-396 stiffened suspension parts, modern discs, and ignition system. Since, it has a non-stock 300ci engine. Upgrading suspension, brakes, and ignition --- if done right --- would not de-value the car. And these would make it a much better daily driver. This car may have started life with a 6-cylinder engine. I believe the OEM 6-cylinder Chevelles still had 4 wheel drum brakes and non-strengthen chassis members.
