You are either a brave soul or have a very mellow cat.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.

The first thing you don't do is run the faucet and put tons of water in the tub..I fill it up 3 inches and make sure the water is 110 degrees. Then you take a portable shower head and put a towel over it and gently rub it on their bodies in gentle circular motions while using johnsons's baby shampoo and don't get water in their eyes.
The other trick is to start them when they are young and reward then with treats..The Bengal and the Abyssinian which my daughter now has both took to water very well..Again,we started them as kittens.

But Pinky and I were close. Orange-marmalade tabby. He still hated it. And, it worked.
Cats clean themselves and it's just as well. Dondi Trollop would take my arms off if I tried.

I agree they clean themselves but only bathe her every couple months and Patrick my other cat loves to play in the tub with his ball and squeaker toys.Patrick is an alpha cat tho.He lets Ellie be boss tho which is nice.
