Carolina or Denver? I pick the Panthers.More mundane: Bruno Mars or Coldplay? My money on Coldplay.

I love it when I'm right. I told my son after lunch (about 2 pm CT) that Denver would cream the Panthers and that it wouldn't be a pretty sight. The Panthers had ONE opportunity to win when it was 10-16. Check.
I also predicted that the halftime show would be yet another boring glitzy show intended to appeal to simple minds. Right on cue, amid fireworks and hundreds of extras, some singer guy starts hopping/skipping around the stage, Beyonce comes out wearing a one-piece leather swimsuit and a garter. Meanwhile, the music was strictly "What's on another channel?" quality. Right again.
On a side note, I wonder how much Peyton Manning was paid to say that he'd be drinking lots of Budweiser, not once, but TWICE? That was really lame, but, I'm sure, profitable for all concerned.
:)
Cautiously optimistic (or wishfully thinking?) for a Denver over Carolina win by +3. That's IF the Broncos bring their A game which they are capable of but don't always bring. ;-)
+1 Coldplay.
First, I'm not much of a football fan.
That being said, VEGAS is giving Denver 5 1/2 to 6 points.
With that point spread, I'll figure the MONEY GUYS are evenly split. Or close to it.
Without the points it would SEEM that the Panthers have an 'edge'.
But even I know the Superbowl SELDOM lives up to the hype or is even a GREAT game.
STAY TUNED:
Too much is never enough
I say take Carolina and the under. 16-6 sounds about right to me.
Happy listening,

I predict the commercials will be more entertaining than the game.
Peyton pulled in 3rd Q for Osweiler to take blame for the embarrassment.
I can't thing of any redeeming quality for Coldplay; the hype outplaying their playing.
Bruno on the other hand, always produces a good show.
But 100? Come on! Actually I see the Denver D making it close but with the Panthers win.

I think it will be Carolina also. The big question for me is if Denver's excellent defense can make it close.
I'm going with Carolina in a close game due to Denver's D. 24-16 with 7 of Carolinas points made on a defensive score.

Rome will never fall, YAY! Chicken Wings and Beer, men in tights playing with balls!
sorry I just had to get that off my chest.
enjoy it FWIW.
I don't have a TV or TV service. I have a projector and a separate tuner but the tuner doesn't pick up any television over the air.
I will be enjoying chicken wings and pizza and beer though, minus the circus. :)
maybe I'll watch something else, probably not, I'll just put on some good music and unwind.
have a nice time.
. . . in your most hoity-toity accent. ;-)
For myself, I do oewn a television machine, but probably won't watch much of the SB. (I could care less about either team.) However, I'll try to catch it at halftime so I can see The Dude and his LA Youth Orchestra.
No.
In a hoity-toity accent the only proper response is a lengthy diatribe on how the very term 'television' is an abomination to anybody with a perfunctory education being as it is cobbled up from greek and latin and only plebs would actually use a contraption thus mis-monikered.
...and make some new friends.
I am irresistible to women who are in heat.
The last thing I need is fisticuffs with husbands and boyfriends of these women. It is not my fault their men are "busy" watching men in tights playing with their balls.
I stay safe and stay in my compound instead.
...in the privacy of your own home using your gigabit connection.
I am not gay.
Good day!
I got manly things to keep me occupied,
or will it be the commercials that engross us? And at 9AM on the Hallmark channel is the Kitten Bowl...my kitty's favorite show.
