If you're familiar with BH's trials and tribulations
you'll realize there's nothing anyone here can say
that's going to un-derail him.

I heard of something called "ludes" that were popular in the 1970s
we need to bring those back! they sound really good.
This was mid 70's. Went to the show, no problem. Passed out in a secluded area, missed the show completely. Woke up early in the AM, building was dark, all the gear was loaded out, everyone was gone. Have not taken one since.
by his own admission
I thought ludes were a hypnotic visionary substance that just calms you the f*ck down, if it makes you pass out, no thanks :)
growing up as a teen in the early-mid 70s they were HUGE (also called 'sopher 714s') and of course Valium -the 'top two' they were known as among bored housewives and poser students.Myself I never dabbled in anything other than weed, beer or wine but I did have a cousin who liked to wash down quaaludes with quartz of malt liquor quite often. He was all but 16 at the time.
Back then I wasn't a rocket scientist but even I knew that was a unwise combination. I guess his logic was since he didn't smoke weed it was an even deal lol.I had absolutely no desire to pop pills since I knew enough to know the effects were pretty much uncontrollable (whereas with weed or booze you could at least sleep em' off-yes I know you do the same with ludes but the question was would you ever wake up! lol..).
My cousin? Well he got his life back on track, still drinks but at least he's still around.

the very finest drug for sexual adventure. Bar none.
Yep! Best bed hopping party I ever attended in my twenties included 747's as the drug of choice. God, I miss Austin and the 70's!

Only did those a couple times. Not my bag, BUT I have friends that get all
dreamy eyed nostalgic just reminiscing about their time(s) with them.
Turn this up LOUD!!!!
