I believe that is the same for the Chrysler. That begs another question. How do I know if the regulator needs to be replaced?

You will know! The glass will likely be crooked in the frame and may even fall into the door.

That's good. None of that is happening so a motor replacement should be sufficient.

If you press on the switch and it takes a moment for the window to raise or lower, the pivots points and rivets are prolly worn out. MB used to use harden steel rivets in soft metal pivots. The regulator arms would wear out, while the rivets showed no wear.
You'd need to drill out the pivot points and put in larger diameter rivets or bolts.
