Sadly for Baylor, their #1 QB is out for the season and it appears that OU took out #2 and is doubtful. But the bright side is that it's great for us.I have to root for Mich St though I believe the Michigan has a better chance at knocking off Ohio St. Mich St. has been lucky this year though as they snatched a win over Michigan when the fat lady had already sung and gone home.
That loss to Arkansas was a tough one. Ole Miss lost to Arkansas too, but it was a bit closer. I'll be pulling for you. I feel for Miles. Losing to 'Bama is like SC losing to Notre Dame, a 12-1 season isn't good enough if you lose that one game.
I don't have much confidence on SC/Oregon. SC has been hot and cold, scoring in seconds and then not moving the ball for the next half. We'll be missing a few key people on D as well. And Oregon had gotten a lot better since those early losses. SC has to keep it close and get some turnovers. I just hope it's not a blow out.
BTW: Iowa looked for real though Purdue isn't Ohio St.

beating up on the Trojans pretty badly right now.
I'm marshalling my time and burning up the dvr going back between LSU, Ohio St. and Dux. All on at the same time, 'sup wit dat?
I'd like to see OSU sneak in as team 4 if they win out. That'd be great for our little Big 12 conf.

On well, time to root for my boy's Bruins next week and a shot at the Rose Bowl.
Yeah, four games at once and I've only got 3 TVs in my office/game room. By half way through the 3rd quarter, I only needed two of them. SC had their chance when they had the ball and only trailed by 10, but that bad snap and the fumble did them in. You just can't give Oregon any breaks and blown pass coverages don't help.
Next up, the Okies. The Cowboys could wrap the Big 12 title with a win and an OU loss. But they really need to win next week too to guarantee a spot in the Final Four. Even then, a win from Stanford next would help assure that position.

Lots of sloppy play by both Oregon and SC. Both are beat up. Oregon down to third string defensive backs. All a team needs to do is keep up with the scoring to beat them. Pulling for Cal to pull off the miracle at the farm tonight. LSU, Utah, and Ohio State lose as well.
Scoring is not something SC has done consistently this year. We're still two years away from being a top team. The scholarships are now fully back, but the team is young and inexperienced with a lot of Freshman starters. We'll see next year how a new coach and new QB will fare for a look to the future. This is reminding me of the lost decade in the 90s with Tollner, Smith and Robinson II (who only looked good the first time in the late 70s when he was loaded with McKay's talent).
UCLA won, setting up the SC game next week to decide the Pac-12 South. I win either way, my team or the kid's. It'd be nice for the kid in his senior year, but I don't see either of them beating Stanford.
The Ohio St. loss, good, LSU, bad.
It looks like my Cowboys have gotten back in the game and may be taking control.

It will be interesting to see who SC picks as the new coach. I read the kids like the current interim guy. If you want to see a tough year, look no further that Anderson's first year at Oregon State.
I knew LSU wasn't a contender, THIS YEAR.
That Baylor/OSU game is pretty freekin good.

Right now, it looks like Baylor's front four are taking control. I'd say OU is the cream of the league, pretty much handled both Baylor and now, TCU.
I've seen Ok St come back, but I'm not terribly optimist.
Wouldn't it be sweet if Florida lost to FL St. and beats 'Bama?
-Rod
Looks like we'll only have 1 this year, either Floriduh (fat chance but hey, they've got great uniforms) or 'bama.I'm sure things'll be more normal next year after this hiccup of a year and we'll place 2 in the big dance.
Baylor, how the heck did they lose to OU??? 2nd and 3rd string QBs roll up 700+ yards on yer very good OSU team, WTF????
OU lets Boykin's mostly incompetent backup damn near beat them? A strange game it is.....

they don't play the three top teams in the Big 10: OSU, MSU and Michigan. Moreover, they struggled to beat Indiana, Pittsburgh, and Maryland. I'm not buying ND at #4 either.
I told you about Baylor. If Seth Russell were healthy they would be unbeaten and this third stringer may prove to be better than Russell. He reminds me of Cam Newton. At least he's getting a shot.
only loss is by 2 to Clemson in a game that could have gone either way. This weekend will tell the tale, win and in, lose and out.
I wonder if the "system" at Baylor is partly responsible for the great showings by their QBs? Hard to believe the numbers # 2 and 3 have put up.
